ARC: The Second Chance Café by Allison Kent

For the past week I have been reading The Second Chance Café by Allison Kent. So, here we go:

Kaylie Flynn grew up in the foster care system and was fortunately able to a stable foster home to grow up in. Now all grown up she purchases the home she spent a good portion of her youth in and decides to make a café out of the home.

The simplest sum I can give without give. As I have been reading this book, I have come to a couple of conclusion. One, it's a sweet story about a girl who wants to start her life over in a place she felt the safest. Two, she wants to find her birth father. Plus, she figure going to the place she called home would be a good start.

So the bottom-line here is, it's a sweet story with a young woman starting her life over. Since this is the first book to the Hope Springs series there is a lot of layers to the story and characters. Which will help build the series.

Overall, The Second Chance Café is an all right read if you are looking for something mild with not a lot of drama. The most drama your going to see is a Victorian house needing a lot of love, since it is a very old house. So, if you are in the mood for something not so stressful, I would say take a look at this book.
