Character Interview: Marcus Gray from A Scandalous Vow by Ava Stone

I would like you all to meet the elusive Marquess of Haversham, Marcus Gray, who is able to dance around any question without giving any real answer. Welcome my Lord! Please have a seat. It’s a pleasure to invite my second favorite scoundrel.

If you’re referring to Kelfield, he has not been a scoundrel in quite a while.

Technically, he was a scoundrel when I first met him, and he was quite dastardly, but I’m sorry to say that you would have to be second to him. Seriously, Alex is such a delight.

He’s a loyal and devoted friend, to be sure, one of the best I have. Though, I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone call him a “delight” before. And now, I’m quite certain he’ll never live that down.

Hey, leave Alex alone. I see what you’re doing, and I can guarantee it won’t work on me, my lord. You can ask Captain Avery, but I don’t think you even talk with him. So, you better not try to evade my question, sir.

Interview with Alex Everett, Duke of Kelfield from the A Scandalous Pursuit

I would like you all to welcome the Wicked Duke of Kelfield, Alexander Everett, to What I’m Reading. I would like you all to know that he has been my longest running book boyfriend ever. It’s going to take someone special to remove him or give him a run for his money.

ALEX – I am flattered, Melody. But don’t tell Olivia unless you want to make her jealous.

No problem.

Welcome, um, I don’t know how to address you? I know the proper way to address you, but it just doesn’t seem right.

ALEX – You usually refer to me as Alex, don’t you?

You are right, when I do talk to Ava I refer to you as Alex. So Alex it is.

Originally, I was going to ask you to define something highly inappropriate, but I was looking for some fun words. However, it started to become tedious, so I changed my mind. I figured we would have a nice little chat.

Character Interview with Samantha Grace's Leading Men + Giveaway

I would like you all to welcome Samantha Grace’s leading men, Drew, Jake, Daniel, Luke, Anthony, and Sebastian, to What I’m Reading.

All six men are gathered in the library. Lord Andrew Forest; Lucas Forest, Duke of Foxhaven; Jake Hillary; Daniel Hillary; and Anthony Keaton, Earl of Ellis sit to one side of the room while Sebastian, Baron Thorne is alone. The gentlemen appear none too friendly with the baron.

Hello fellows, would you guys care for a drink?

The men mumble their thanks, but politely decline. Drew and Luke watch the baron through narrowed, distrustful eyes, and Anthony avoids eye contact all together. Jake and Daniel remain silent, which is a feat in itself for the boisterous Captain Daniel Hillary.

Sam pulls Melody aside to speak quietly with her. “Oh, dear. I was afraid something like this might happen if we got them all together in the same room. Drew and Luke are still unhappy with Sebastian for fighting with their good friend Anthony when he eloped with their sister Gabby. I think they understand why Sebastian would be furious—after all, Gabby was the baron’s fiancĂ©e when Anthony took her—but they haven’t forgiven Sebastian for placing Gabby in harm’s way.”

Sam glances back over her shoulder toward the Hillary brothers. “I’m afraid their association with Sebastian isn’t much better ever since their older brother Ben jilted Sebastian’s sister. Jake and Daniel don’t agree with what their brother did, but family loyalty is very strong among the Hillarys. Are you sure that you want to do this? Maybe I should have a little talk with them first.”

Character Interview + Giveaway: Heir to Scandal by Andrea Laurence

I would like you all to welcome Xander Langston, Rose Pierce, and Andrea Laurence to What I'm Reading. (The colors that are highlighting the names are correspond with their answers)

How are you guys doing? Would you guys care for a beverage while we sit and chat?
We’re great, thanks for having us, Melody. And no need for drinks, they’ll get their pages wet. J

Xander and Rose how do you feel about your story? Would there be anything you would like to change if you had the power?
I, for one, would’ve liked there to be more sex in the book.
Xander!
*shrugs unapologetically*
I wish I could’ve included some of my recipes in the book. I think readers would enjoy that. Of course, that would mean that Andrea would have to come up with real recipes for my imaginary desserts!
