If you choose mostly As ... then you are as sparkling and resourceful as Her Serene Royal Highness Dagmar from The Truth About Leo by Katie MacAlister. Dagmar may have been raised in a strictly formal manner, but she’s never let that stop her from pursuing anything that catches her interest. She’s a bit quirky, marches to her own drummer, and has a fine, fine appreciation of the manly form.

If you choose mostly Bs … then you are clearly the stuff a baroness is made of, much like Millicent, from The Traitor. Milly is sweet, fierce, determined, and brave but slow to trust. Sebastian, Baron St. Clair, is ALSO sweet, fierce, determined and brave, and relentless when it comes to protecting those he cares for. Alas for both Sebastian and Milly, an enemy stalks them who is not sweet. By the time Milly is done with Sebastian's enemies, they are not very brave either. So if you chose mostly B's, the bad guys better steer mighty clear of you!

If you choose mostly Cs … then you are equipped to be a master spy like Jane Bonde from Love and Let Spy by Shana Galen. Jane is smart, cunning, and loyal, but she has her weaknesses too. Her latest weakness goes by the name Dominic Griffyn. Planning a wedding and defeating a villain intent upon the destruction of England is tricky, but if you're the sort who multitasks easily, then you too have Jane's unique skills and panache.

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Her name is Bonde, Jane Bonde . . .

A beautiful and eligible member of the ton, Jane has more than a few secrets: she’s one of the Crown’s most elite agents. She may be deadly, but she doesn't know a thing about fashion, flirtation, or love . . . until Dominic Griffyn shakes up her carefully stirred world and asks her to be his bride. He’s exactly the kind of man she’s not looking for. And he’s dangerous, because falling into his arms is so much more satisfying than saving England from her enemies.

He’s an improper gentleman who needs a wife. . .

Tall, dark, and tortured, Dominic Griffyn is haunted by demons from his past. When his stepfather insists that he marry, Dominic allows himself to hope that the beautiful but mysterious Miss Bonde might help him forget his troubles. As they grow closer, it’s clear that there’s more to Jane than danger. She might be just what his neglected heart needs.

As a young boy, British-born Sebastian St. Clair was abandoned in France and forced to join the French army in order to survive.

Now that the war is over, he has returned home to his beloved England, and is determined to live a quiet life as a country gentleman. He believes that his wish is about to come true when he begins to fall for his elderly aunt’s lovely companion, Miss Millicent Danforth.

But the French are not quite ready to let him go, and they’ve devised a devious plot that could destroy everything that Sebastian holds dear. He will have to use all of his wits if he plans on escaping this scheme with his life…and his love.

Can Dagmar flee Denmark

Dagmar Marie Sophie is a poverty-stricken Danish princess whose annoying royal cousin is about to have her stuffed away in a convent. When she finds a wounded man unconscious in her garden, she sees a way out of her desperate situation.
By Lying to Leo?

Leopold Ernst George Mortimer, seventh earl of March, and spy in the service of the king, finds himself on the wrong end of a saber and left for dead. He wakes up not remembering what happened...in the care of a beautiful woman who says she is his wife.
Back in London, Leo-with the help of his old friends the eccentric Britton family-sets out to unravel what he's forgotten... Is Dagmar truly the wonderful, irrepressible woman who makes his heart sing, or is she a dangerous enigma bent on his destruction?

Taste of Darkness by Katie Reus

Last year I read Darkness Awakened, which launched her new series Darkness. All right, I was a little worry, because the first book didn't grab me. However, there was one character that intrigued. I didn't mention him my review last year, because I just did a general "I'm curious about a few characters in the next book" phrase. The character I was intrigued was Drake. Here's why: he's a dragon. If you don't know, dragons are awesome shifters. Anyway, Katie Reus brings us Drake's book in Taste of Darkness.

So, at the beginning of the story Drake is still getting accustom to life after being locked up in hell for centuries. He has a feeling he has found his mate in a wolf shifter, Victoria. Now Victoria has feelings for Drake, but doesn't know how he feels about her. Plus, she wants to make sure that Drake isn't just settling on her and vice versa. However, these two have chemistry. Seriously, Drake freaking glows when he's around Victoria.

Anyway, he eventually finds out he has siblings, doesn't trust them. More like he's not sure what to think of them cause his memory is a hit or miss. So, the Stavros clan isn't sure what to think of dragons being real. Anyway, they head up to where Drake's family is located and the story gets a little more interesting with more dragons. I'm going to be frank, I love this book. It's one of those stories I want to say every thought about this book and basically tell you the story.

I love how the story focuses on Drake and finding about himself and his people. You get see bits of Drake's memory coming back. I like one of his memory about what his father told him:
"You're from a strong line and you're naturally bigger than most of the other boys your age. Some males feel the need to prove themselves and want to start fights. It's a natural thing, but I'm glad you're not like that. True leaders know how to control themselves. They earn loyalty and respect by leading by example, not by bullying."
This shows what good character Drake has at even a young age. I love how he treats Victoria with respect. Most of the clan treats her like she's still a young cub, while Drake treats her as an equal. Although he's a bit overprotective at times.

I have to say that I love how you get a sense there's a bad guy lurking around in the story, but you don't know who. As the story progresses Katie gives you two guys who could be the bad guy. I love the fact you suspect one more than the other, because of his past action. All of the sudden you're like no way, you did not just do that to me. Fantastic.

Dragons are awesome! Katie won me over with Taste of Darkness, because I wasn't sure I was going to like the series after my mediocre feelings toward Darkness Awakened. Now I'm excited for the next story. I'm sure who I would want more for the next story Drake's brother or his sister. I'm kinda leaning towards his brother. My fingers are cross for that one.

Falling for the Pirate by Amber Lin

Argh there! Too bad this isn't a swashbuckling tale, but it's still a fabulous read from Amber Lin. Today I bring you a tale of revenge, captivity, amnesia, a pirate-like hero, and a young woman caught in the middle of this in Falling of the Pirate. Amber brings us the second story in Men of Fortune novels.

We meet are young heroine, Juliana Hargate, who wants to find proof that her father is innocent from wrong doing. However, she ends up getting caught by Nate Bowmen. Nate assumes that she's been sent by Hargate to weasel out information. Juliana gets scared and she ends up almost drowning. Fortunately, she survives, but she's unable to remember a thing. Of course, Nate thinks this is a scheme, and being a ruthless kind of guy he almost does some despicable things. I was a little worry he was going to rape Juliana, but I had nothing to worry.

Anyway, Juliana eventually gets her memory back. Now you are wondering where the revenge fits into the story. Well, Nate has this detail revenge plot against Juliana's father. First off, her father is not a nice man, and he did terrible things, especially to Nate. I completely understand why Nate would want to extract revenge on the man.

Falling for the Pirate is a captivating story with the revenge plot. I enjoyed the characters. You have Juliana who has been shelter from her father's deplorable behavior. In a way he did protector, but at the same time let her down. It was painful to see what his actions had done to her. Nate a ruthless man so set on revenge (probably the only pirate-like attribute in the story), but realizes the damage it does to those around. Eventually he realizes that it's not as satisfying as he thought it would be. Overall, a pretty good read. Even though the story is a book two, you can read this story without worrying about missing something from the first story. So, if you are looking for a tale, you might be interested in Falling for the Pirate.

Why?

First off, I know I won over TBQ with the tattoos. However, I love the whole cover. I think it's a fantastic cover with the background and Evan with his tattoos. It's drool worthy. I can't wait for this book cause I just want Evan to stop moping around. In the Love in the Balance books, you saw Evan pretty depress. By The Millionaire Affair Evan was starting to come out of his funk. He just seem so yummy, and I wanted more of him. So, I'm lusting for the story and the cover. Cause you can't have a mopey bad boy, it's just not right. So, what are you lusting for, a bad boy or something else?

Handled By Officer by Kym Roberts

I got a chance to read Handled By Officer by Kym Roberts, which happens to be her debut. I think the best way to go about this is diving into my thoughts.

So, we meet Kiley Gibbons at the beginning. Let's be honest she's not cop material. It's nothing against her, but she has the inability to compartmentalize. In order to survive as a law enforcement you need to be able separate your emotions from her surrounds. In other words, she gets emotionally involved. Of course this gets her into trouble.  She does tries, but she's just not like her sister.

Officer Walt Raynham, he's just counting his days when he's no longer an instructor. When he lays eyes on Kiley, he tends to put his badge on the line. Deep down he knows that Kiley isn't cut out to be a cop, but doesn't have ability to say, "Hey maybe you're just not cut out for this kind of work." Fortunately, it works out for Kiley and she finds her true calling.

Okay, the beginning of the book Kiley has a few bumps she needs to go over before a happy ending is in store for her. The beginning was a little slow to start, but once we get to the part where Kiley helps a woman who has been in domestic violence situation the story starts to get interesting. The domestic violence issue plays a pretty big role in the story. To manage to have something like that is not an easy task, I think Kym manage that part of the story nicely. Towards the end, I was surprise by the twist in the story, and I can say I wasn't expecting some of the events that happen.

Overall, not a bad start for a debut. It does have some funny parts while tackling a serious issue at the same time. I did like that eventually Walt and Kiley did get together, but it just took a little time.

Favorite Line:
But what Walt remembered most was his dad's words. "Anyone can put on a uniform and ride in to save the day. It's how a man treats his family that defines who he really is. Love, honor, and respect the ones you care about. And don't ever let your pride get in the way."

Sizzling PR Blog Tour + Review + Giveaway + Excerpt: Accidentally Married on Purpose by Rachel Harris

 Accidentally Married on Purpose
 Rachel Harris

Book Synopsis:
One ring plus one wild night equals one crazy love
Sherry Robicheaux loves men. She loves love. And she loves an adventure. So when she meets a mysterious man while working backstage at a country music concert in Vegas, she’s all about what happens in Vegas staying there.
Country music superstar Tyler Blue just wants a weekend of anonymity…though there’s something about the spunky waitress with the streaks of purple hair that tempts him like no other. Until the next morning, when they both wake up with fuzzy memories…and rings on their fingers.
Convincing Sherry to maintain the ruse for his public image isn’t the hardest part—it’s reminding himself that their time spent playing husband and wife in her small town of Magnolia Springs can’t last. Tyler’s first love will always be music—and the road is no place for a sweet downhome girl.

My Thoughts:

I have to say that Accidentally Married on Purpose is a cute book. I completely enjoyed the story. I mean who doesn't love a story that has a couple having a drunk wedding in Vegas. Right there is like an automatic read to me. The challenge is how are they going to make it work. I actually love the fact that Tyler's publicist pushed to keep his marriage going for a little while. So, Tyler and Sherry put on a show for everyone, but of course they start to fall in love. Yes, no one wants to omit to falling in love first.

Honestly, I didn't see Sherry as a wild child, but her exuberance tends to gets her into trouble. I actually love one of her description:
"That girl's heart is bigger than Texas." Her eyes narrowed. "And it's as tender as a baby's butt."
She does have a big heart if she was willing to keep up the charade for Tyler. Sherry truly tried to guard her heart, but it's hard when the guy is a charmer. I like that Tyler was trying to curb is himbo image, and what perfect way than to stay married. I like once you saw how his layers starting to peel, we see that he's a great guy.

Honestly, I thought story was a lot fun to read. I mean it had me chuckling at times, but towards the end it got me choked up. Seriously, I had tears streaming done my face. I know I'm a sap for the sappiness.  However, I think my favorite part of the story Tyler's epiphany, and it all stems from the wedding. So, if you are looking for that book that will having you laughing and possibly crying (remember I'm a sap), you might want to give Accidentally Married on Purpose a go.

Excerpt:

Waking up face-first on the bathroom floor may not be cause for alarm for everyone, but for Sherry, it ranked right up there. Especially since she knew the second her eyes cracked open that it wasn’t her bathroom.
Fuzzy-edged memories pranced around her brain, just out of reach, as she hooked a hand on the toilet seat and pushed to a sitting position.
            The world tilted.
As her stomach heaved, she dove for the porcelain throne, but nothing came up. Nothing other than slightly sharper memories. Ones that told of dancing, magical fountains, way too much alcohol, and some very, very sexy time between the sheets. The images pulsed like an old movie, blanking out too much for her liking, but a flush heated her skin at what she could recall.
Hot damn. She’d been right. A night with a roadie like Tyler would definitely keep her fantasies occupied for years to come. Shame she couldn’t remember more.
Resting her head on the cool surface, she surveyed the fancy digs with half-lidded eyes.  It was a hell of a room, particularly on a roadie’s budget. Further proof that either Tyler was in tight with his boss, or Blue wasn’t nearly the egotist she’d pegged him to be. Too bad she hadn’t had a chance to meet him the other night.
“Tyler?” she called out again, wincing at the roughness of her voice. She sounded like an old lady who smoked a bazillion packs a day. Lovely. Grabbing hold of either side of the toilet, she wobbled first to her knees, and then her feet. The mirror was just a few feet away. Time to inspect the damage.
Eyes half closed, she fumbled forward and latched onto the counter to steady herself. Hangovers really didn’t suit her. She turned on the faucet, and as she waited for the plastic cup to fill with water, Sherry raised her eyes to her reflection.
 “What the freaking hell?!?”
She was wearing a wedding veil.
A wedding veil was on her head. It was white. It had lace. And it was on her freaking head.
She didn’t have a single stitch of clothing on her body otherwise, but she did have that. “Hubba, hubba, wubba…what?”
She blinked hard, repeatedly, thinking her reflection would change. It didn’t. Cold water ran over her hand, and it didn’t wake her from the bizarre dream. The door behind her started to creak open, and Sherry jumped, snatching a towel off the floor.

When she saw a huge honking diamond on her finger, she ditched the towel and screamed instead.
