Forever Romance Launch Day Blitz + Review + Giveaway: He's So Fine by Jill Shalvis

Book Summary:
For Olivia Bentley, Lucky Harbor is more than the town where she runs her new vintage shop. It's the place where folks are friendly to strangers-and nobody knows her real name. Olivia does a good job of keeping her past buried, not getting too cozy with anyone . . . until she sees a man drowning. Suddenly she's rushing into the surf, getting up close and personal with the hottest guy she's ever laid hands on.

Charter boat captain Cole Donovan has no problem with a gorgeous woman throwing her arms around his neck in an effort to "save" him. In fact, he'd like to spend a lot more time skin-to-skin with Olivia. He's just not expecting that real trouble is about to come her way. Will it bring her deeper into Cole's heart, or will it be the end of Olivia's days in little Lucky Harbor?

Finding Home by Roxanne Snopek (Review)

Yesterday I read Finding Home by Roxanne Snopek. I have enjoyed Roxanne previous stories, but I had a hard time connecting with this story. Don't get me wrong, Finding Home is a nice sweet read that deals with some serious issues.

Basically, Samara Davis finds herself as a widow and decided that she wanted to move back Marietta, Montana, because when she was younger that was the one place that she felt that she could feel at home. When she gets there things aren't going as plan, and she struggles. She has a lot on her plate with being a new widow and dealing with her child; the last person she expect to see was Logan Stafford. Now Logan couldn't forget Samara, even if tried. However, they were together one and the next she was gone. Now she has return to Marietta, and maybe this is a second chance for them to be together.

I really liked Logan. In Finding Home he was a decent guy and willing to bend over backward for Samara. Now Samara, I had a huge issue with her. I think a lot has to do with the fact she was extremely emotionally closed off that she wouldn't let anyone in. Now certain residents aren't going to let Samara get away with that. Logan being one of them, and Eliza and Aunt Mabel being the others. She realized what she was doing, but didn't know if she wanted to fix. I love that Aunt Mabel stepped in and pretty much put her in her place. I did like Aunt Mabel even though she's a bit brash.

Overall, Finding Home is a well written story with characters with strong emotional issues. A lot of story focuses on Samara and her taking back her life after the death of her husband and learning to trust the people in Marietta. Logan is fantastic and how he handles Samara and her daughter. Not a bad read, and it wasn't until the end when I finally liked Samara. However, others have enjoyed this story and this is just my personal feeling.

About INSPIRE:

Kalliope lives with one purpose. To inspire. As an immortal muse, she doesn’t have any other choice. It’s part of how she was made. Musicians, artists, actors—they use her to advance their art, and she uses them to survive. She moves from one artist to the next, never staying long enough to get attached. But all she wants is a different life— a normal one. She’s spent thousands of years living lie after lie, and now she’s ready for something real.

Sweet, sexy, and steady, Wilder Bell feels more real than anything else in her long existence. And most importantly… he’s not an artist. He doesn’t want her for her ability. But she can’t turn off the way she influences people, not even to save a man she might love. Because in small doses, she can help make something beautiful, but her ability has just as much capacity to destroy as it does to create. The longer she stays, the more obsessed Wilder will become. It’s happened before, and it never turns out well for the mortal.

Her presence may inspire genius.

But it breeds madness, too.

The Highest Tide
 Series: Eden, book 4
Marian Perera
Release: February 2015
Blurb:
One touch, and the tide isn’t all that’s rising.

When brothel health inspector Jason Remerley finds a uniformed woman waiting impatiently in the Velvet Court parlor, wanting to hire a man’s services, he’s struck by lightning. His intense, immediate attraction compels him to pretend his way into her arms.

Enough silver, and most men forget about Captain Lera Vanze’s half-burned face. She senses something off about the handsome, ill-dressed prostitute who sells himself so cheaply. But with his first touch, goose bumps turn to shivers of desire—right before the truth drives them in opposite directions.

Her fury is still simmering when they face each other in a more “official” capacity. She’s joined a warship to stop a terrorist only Jason can identify. Though trust is scarce, they’re swept away in a tidal wave of murderous plots and an explosive attraction that could leave them marooned in an emotional—and very real—minefield.
Warning: She knows how to wield her sword, he knows just how, when, and where to apply his…mind. Contains deception in a brothel, sex in a cave, a shark with a bad habit, and one very large wave.

Blog Tour Guest Post (Top 5) + Review + Giveaway: Forever Starts Tonight by Roni Loren

The question I asked Roni Loren: If you could go anywhere in the world what would be your top 5 places for a romantic getaway and why?

I’m of the mind that anywhere can be romantic if I’m with the hubby (and have a babysitter for the kidlet, lol), but there are a few places that I’d gravitate toward if I could choose.

1. Lake Tahoe in the winter – This is where Forever Starts Tonight is set and I did that for a reason. Many years ago, the hubby and I went out there for a trip and got snowed in by a blizzard on day two. We had no snow tires on the car, so were stuck. But we were one of the only couples at the resort since ski season hadn’t opened yet. So we had restaurants to ourselves and all the beautiful scenery. We watched movies and drank hot chocolate, played in the snow. It was a fantastic place to get stuck. : )

2. France – I’m not sure which region I’d prefer, but I’ve never been so I’d want to see as much as I could (and eat as much as I could, lol.)

3. Italy – Similar reasons to France. Food, wine, long walks with beautiful scenery and architecture.

4. New England in the fall at a B&B – I’ve always wanted to see the leaves turning and tour that region during that time. I like in Dallas, which basically has two seasons—really hot summers and icy winters. So I’d love to truly experience fall.

5. Doing the Pacific Coast Highway road trip – I’d love to go on a long road trip with the hubs where we get to see the ocean and stop in all the towns along the way to find the best dive restaurants and such. (See? Everything goes back to food for me, lol.)

Readers: If you could go anywhere for a romantic getaway, where would you go?

Book Blurb:

The wait is over. They fell in love in Melt Into You, but that was only the beginning. Now New York Times bestselling author Roni Loren dials up the passion as three lovers reinvent the meaning of togetherness and find out if love is truly enough…

Two dominant men, one beautiful woman. Jace Austin knows he doesn’t have what you’d call a conventional relationship with Evan and Andre, but it works. Boy, does it work—until Evan starts acting strangely and Andre’s ex-fiancée pops back into his life, unbalancing a perfectly happy threesome. Jace is forced to face the unthinkable: that the two people he cares most about in this world are in danger of slipping away from him.

So Jace plans a surprise getaway to a secluded mountain cabin for the three of them. And he knows exactly what he needs to do: give both his lovers a fantasy week they’ll never forget. And the possibilities for pleasure are endless. But when they get snowed in and the heat between them reaches a fever pitch, secrets come out. And Evan has one that could change all their lives forever.
