A few days ago I read Shame on You by Tara Sivec. I have to say that I found this quick read quite entertaining. This is the start to the Fool Me Once series.
We meet three friends: Kennedy O'Brien, Paige McCarty, and Lorelei Warner. They banded together to form Fool Me Once Investigation. Each of them have been burn former guys in life and decided the most productive way of handling their frustration is catch dirty scum buckets.
Anyway, the story focus more on Kennedy and how she has to work with her ex-husband friend, Griffin Crawford. She can't stand him, because she thought they were friends when she found out her husband had been cheating on her. Of course they ended making a wager to see who catches the bail jumper first.
Honestly, I found Shame on You highly entertaining. However, some people might find the humor a bit crass at times. Yet the Kennedy's family is a hoot. They seemed to be plotting against her to get her look at Griffin. Honestly, Shame on You is a silly fun read. It's not meant to be taken serious, but meant to be light and fun. So, if you don't mind a little crass humor, you might enjoy Shame on You.
