Lusting for Covers (16): The Earl's Mistress by Liz Carlyle

Lusting for Covers is a weekly meme, held on Sunday, that allows bloggers to share their current cover obsession with fellow book lovers.

This meme is hosted by TBQ @ TBQ's Book Palace.

This Weeks Selection:
The Earl's Mistress by Liz Carlyle
Publisher: Avon (Aug 2014)
Series: MacLachlin and Friends, 10
Genre: Historical Romance

Blurb:

New York Times bestselling author Liz Carlyle creates her darkest, most sensuous story yet, as a delectable but desperate governess runs headlong into the path of a notorious rake...

Women rarely refuse the wicked Earl of Hepplewood, whose daring exploits are only whispered about. But when his new governess answers his proposition with a slap, then stalks out, references in hand, Hepplewood finds more than his face is burning.

Isabella Aldridge has brains, bravado, and beauty—but the latter is no use to a servant. Her circumstances are desperate, and with Hepplewood's words ringing in her ears, Isabella realizes she must barter her most marketable asset . . . her body.

But when fate sends Isabella back into Hepplewood's arms, the earl must make an impossible choice—draw Isabella down into his sensual darkness, or behave with honor for the first time in his life.

Why?
We all know that for the past few weeks I have been on a purplish-pink kick. Well, we are going the fourth week. You would think that it would come to a halt. Wrong! I'm going strong on this kick. Anywho, I actually stumbled upon this beauty one late night on Amazon, not really looking for a cover for L4C. Then I saw this. I fell in love instantly. The dress is gorgeous and just melts into the background of fabric. So, what are you lusting after? Are you like me who has been after a color or something else?

  1. Oooh, pretty! :) I haven't read Liz's books in a few years, but I remember giving many of them 4-5 stars. Adding this one to my list!

    Enjoy,
