I was able to finished How to Seduce a Bad Boy by Traci Douglas. Well, this story was an adorable read. We have Melody Bryant who has been in love with her brother's best friend forever. However, Adam Foster is going to look after his best friend's little sister. Basically, Melody sets out to try to catch her Adam's attention with a makeover. Which works and so the story begins.
Of course, that's the over simplification of How to Seduce a Bad Boy. The first half is kind of too sweet for my taste. We are lacking the no you shouldn't be hanging out with the bad boy. Yes, they grew up as friends, because Adam is best friend's with her brother. There were times I had to put the book down, because it was too sweet. However, it wasn't until we got closer to the end that I did enjoy the story. Granted more drama appear and making it worth the time. I think the whole "oh no I shouldn't be with my bro's sister" became more real when her brother comes home. So, the story does pickup when the time table comes to the end.
Overall, it's a cute read. If you like stories that have behind closed doors love scenes this is your read. If you are a fan of best friend chasing friend's sister, hey you might like this one. It's a little slow at the beginning, and does progress about halfway through the story.

Christmas with the Sheriff by Victoria James (Review)
So begins the holiday reads; today I bring to you Christmas with the Sheriff by Victoria James. There is a lot going on in this story, we have Julia Bailey who lost her husband and son to an accident, plus there's a secret. We have the sheriff who was best friend with Julia's husband, who also had been in love with her forever, and he's also a single day. All and in all the story is a sweet story. Not a lot of drama. The main drama is Julia trying to decided if it's worth the pain to love again. Plus, it centers around the holiday season.
Basically, if you are in need of a sweet love story Christmas with the Sheriff will be your go to read. The story focuses on Julia and Chase. Chase focuses on trying to keep Julia to stay. I like these two. They are adorable. Even Chase's little girl is adorable. Overall, this story is sweet.

Falling For Her Enemy by Victoria James (Review)
I received a chance to read Victoria James Falling for Her Enemy. I have to say that it was a pretty good read. Basically, we meet Hayden Brooks who finds out he might have secret child from a one-night stand about 7 years ago. The woman who says that he might be the father is blackmailing. Of course, he hires an investigator to find the child that could be his. He finds the child and wants to know if she is his. He comes across Alex McAllister who happens to be the child's adopted mother. We have Hayden who wants a DNA test to confirm or deny if the child is his, which causes Alex to panic that she might lose her daughter. We see Hayden, Alex, and Cassie getting to know one another throughout the story. Hayden starts to fall for both mother and daughter. Oh how sweet.
Overall, it was a sweet story. We get to know Alex a little better and see that she has abandonment issues that stem from childhood. She has this fear of her life that she created is crumbling right before her eyes when Hayden starts making waves. It's a nice story that gives a child something she wants. However, I was a little disappointed that issue of the blackmailing woman wasn't truly dealt with. We just ended up with one big happy ending, and felt she was just swept under the rug. I wish there was an epilogue to find out how Alex and Hayden dealt with this woman that stirred up trouble, but that just me. However, for a sweet story that centers around the Christmas time frame, it's pretty good.

Falling for the P.I. by Victoria James (Review)

I have a feeling that the Still Harbor stories aren't going to be an easy reads. What I mean is that they might be a bit emotional. We meet three sisters of the heart in Falling for the P.I., and they have bonded when they met at a shelter. Each of these women have a past that might be little dark. However, we are focusing on Kate Abbott (Alex McAllister and Cara will have their own books).
Now Kate is a sweet woman who cares deeply for her adopted daughter who happens to have Down Syndrome. However, she has no social life outside of her sisters and the kids. So, Alex and Cara thought it might be time for Kate to have some fun and find a guy. She stumbles upon Matt Lane. Matt Lane is a private investigator who doesn't do relationships. However, he's drawn to Kate and is willing to take a chance. When he finds out she has a kid, he's still willing to see what happens next.
Sounds pretty simple, right? That's what you are led to believe until we dive deeper into the story. Kate's past isn't an easy one. Actually when we find out the truth behind it, it's pretty rough, and we grasp a better understanding behind her mistrust with cops.
I liked this story, because we have Matt who is a decent guy, but Kate past kind of puts up roadblocks in the relationship. Actually, one of guys that Matt knows is the leading cause to Kate's issues. I know super vague, but I just don't want to give too much away. Anyway, I just adore how Matt is understanding to Kate and her daughter. Overall, I found Falling for the P.I. a sweet read. It might have taken sometime for Kate to trust Matt, but he was patient. He definitely won me over with his patience. It's a feel good book, but towards the ending is a little rough with Kate's past being reveal.

Blame It On The Kiss by Robin Bielman (Review)
YAY! We have book two of the Kisses in the Sand books. In Blame It On The Kiss we focus on Honor Mitchell and Bryce Bishop. Okay, I love this story. It's one of stories I just couldn't put down. Let share the greatness of this story and hope to not overshare, because I LOVE IT!.
If you read Keeping Mr. Right Now you would remember Honor and Bryce from the previous story. Honor is the one to help Sophie's revamp her image, and Bryce is best friends with Zane also his agent. Now we are getting ready for Zane and Sophie's wedding. However, a lot has happen and here we go.
Bryce and Honor kind of have a past together, sort of. Here's how they are linked together: Payton. Who's Payton you ask? Well, she's the ex-girlfriend to Bryce, and best friend to Honor. Yeah, gets kind of complicated, but she's no longer in the living. Anyway, her memory is haunting these people. Basically, Payton never told Bryce she was extremely sick and just dumped. She kind of left Bryce with a shattered heart. So he decided to make a rule:
Payton plays a huge part in this story, because every time Honor and Bryce draw close together they remember Payton. Talk about a major buzz kill. They are both compound by guilt, but more on Honor's side. A lot of Honor's guilt stems from a relationship that had gone wrong in high school. Her ex-boyfriend did a number on her. He was a total jerk for calling her selfish. Anyway.
LOVED Blame It On The Kiss because it was a fantastic read that dealt with overcoming guilt and regret. Plus, there were some fantastic lines like:

Never get too attached and never give a woman power to damage his heart again.Damn, that sucks for the next girl. Then we have Honor who has been dubbed by her friends as the serial dater. Yeah, these two are going to make a fine pair. If that wasn't there only problem, it would be Payton.

Walking with our heads down trying to pull the weight of our mistakes doesn't make them go away. Choice is the only thing that conquers regret. Choosing to learn from our past and waking up with hope on the pillowcase beside us rather than remorse. Not only that it had some humorous parts especially, when Midge and her "Street Team" enter the scene. Those ladies crack me up. So, if you want a happy sappy story with a little more steam than a normal Bliss book, you might consider Blame It On The Kiss. This story can be read as standalone if you haven't had a chance to read Keeping Mr. Right Now.

The Doctor's Fake Fiancée by Victoria James (Review)
Before you even start Victoria James's The Doctor's Fake Fiancée, grab a box of tissues. I'm not kidding Victoria had me crying from the first couple of chapters. It did lighten up, but it might be a good idea to keep them near by. The ending did me in. Granted it was one of the sappiest endings, but it still got to me. However, this book is FANTASTIC! I absolutely loved this story even though I was crying through most of the book.
So, if you have read the previous Red River books you would remember at the end of The Best Man's Baby Evan Manning was in an accident that caused serious damage to his hand. This caused him to quit being a surgeon and the lost of his fiancée. Well, if the girl is going to leave after a tragedy, good riddance. Anyway, we didn't know exactly what happen to Evan's hand, so we were left wondering. Finally the answer was reveal. Evan is a hero.

Review: Keeping Mr. Right Now by Robin Bielman
Last night I finished, Keeping Mr. Right Now by Robin Bielman. I have to say that it was a cute read with a little more heat than normal Bliss books. However, not as steamy as a Brazen book. Anyway, I guess I should tell you why I liked this book.
First, I adore Sophie Birch. She's cute, adorable, and a bit of a nerd. Yes! Let's rock the nerdy girl heroines. So, she wouldn't be deem as hot. Now, Zane Hollander is a play-boy surfer who wants to clean up his act. Now his buddies think Sophie is the perfect solution to his image problems cause isn't his typical type. Plus, it helps that she will be around cause working on the film festival.
I love the fact that at the beginning of the book Sophie is understated. I mean she was a good-looking, but never saw herself that way. Plus, when you been teased your whole life for your looks you have self doubt that anyone is looking at you. So, he wore her nerd-girl self as a security blanket, but wanted to let go and create a new image. She was lucky to meet Honor to help her find a new image. Plus, it helped that Zane started to see how special she was. Bad-boy Zane who "wore his charm like a second skin", and knew his limitations that were ingrain by his lovely father (not really). After all his father would say things like:
Overall, Keeping Mr. Right Now was a cute story. I liked that it had two people from different worlds come together. I also liked how you can kind of see who might be the next story. So, if you are looking for a light fun read with a little California sun, you might want to checkout Keeping Mr. Right Now.

Sizzling PR Blog Tour + Review + Giveaway + Excerpt: Accidentally Married on Purpose by Rachel Harris
Accidentally
Married on Purpose
Rachel Harris
Book Synopsis:
One ring plus one wild night equals one
crazy love
Sherry Robicheaux loves men. She loves love. And
she loves an adventure. So when she meets a mysterious man while working
backstage at a country music concert in Vegas, she’s all about what happens in Vegas staying there.
Country music superstar Tyler Blue just wants a
weekend of anonymity…though there’s something about the spunky waitress with
the streaks of purple hair that tempts him like no other. Until the next
morning, when they both wake up with fuzzy memories…and rings on their fingers.
Convincing Sherry to maintain the ruse for his
public image isn’t the hardest part—it’s reminding himself that their time
spent playing husband and wife in her small town of Magnolia Springs can’t
last. Tyler’s first love will always be music—and the road is no place for a
sweet downhome girl.
My Thoughts:
I have to say that Accidentally Married on Purpose is a cute book. I completely enjoyed the story. I mean who doesn't love a story that has a couple having a drunk wedding in Vegas. Right there is like an automatic read to me. The challenge is how are they going to make it work. I actually love the fact that Tyler's publicist pushed to keep his marriage going for a little while. So, Tyler and Sherry put on a show for everyone, but of course they start to fall in love. Yes, no one wants to omit to falling in love first.
Honestly, I didn't see Sherry as a wild child, but her exuberance tends to gets her into trouble. I actually love one of her description:
Honestly, I thought story was a lot fun to read. I mean it had me chuckling at times, but towards the end it got me choked up. Seriously, I had tears streaming done my face. I know I'm a sap for the sappiness. However, I think my favorite part of the story Tyler's epiphany, and it all stems from the wedding. So, if you are looking for that book that will having you laughing and possibly crying (remember I'm a sap), you might want to give Accidentally Married on Purpose a go.

"That girl's heart is bigger than Texas." Her eyes narrowed. "And it's as tender as a baby's butt."She does have a big heart if she was willing to keep up the charade for Tyler. Sherry truly tried to guard her heart, but it's hard when the guy is a charmer. I like that Tyler was trying to curb is himbo image, and what perfect way than to stay married. I like once you saw how his layers starting to peel, we see that he's a great guy.

Excerpt:
Waking up face-first on the bathroom floor may
not be cause for alarm for everyone, but for Sherry, it ranked right up there.
Especially since she knew the second her eyes cracked open that it wasn’t her bathroom.
Fuzzy-edged memories pranced around her brain, just out of reach, as she hooked
a hand on the toilet seat and pushed to a sitting position.
The world tilted.
As her stomach heaved, she dove for the porcelain throne, but nothing came up.
Nothing other than slightly sharper memories. Ones that told of dancing,
magical fountains, way too much alcohol, and some very, very sexy time between
the sheets. The images pulsed like an old movie, blanking out too much for her
liking, but a flush heated her skin at what she could recall.
Hot damn. She’d been right. A
night with a roadie like Tyler would definitely keep her fantasies occupied for
years to come. Shame she couldn’t remember more.
Resting her head on the cool surface, she
surveyed the fancy digs with half-lidded eyes. It was a hell of a room,
particularly on a roadie’s budget. Further proof that either Tyler was in tight
with his boss, or Blue wasn’t nearly the egotist she’d pegged him to be. Too
bad she hadn’t had a chance to meet him the other night.
“Tyler?” she called out again, wincing at the
roughness of her voice. She sounded like an old lady who smoked a bazillion
packs a day. Lovely. Grabbing hold of either side of the toilet, she wobbled
first to her knees, and then her feet. The mirror was just a few feet away.
Time to inspect the damage.
Eyes half closed, she fumbled forward and
latched onto the counter to steady herself. Hangovers really didn’t suit her.
She turned on the faucet, and as she waited for the plastic cup to fill with
water, Sherry raised her eyes to her reflection.
“What the freaking hell?!?”
She was wearing a wedding veil.
A wedding veil was on her head. It was white.
It had lace. And it was on her freaking head.
She didn’t have a single stitch of clothing on
her body otherwise, but she did have that. “Hubba, hubba, wubba…what?”
She blinked hard, repeatedly, thinking her
reflection would change. It didn’t. Cold water ran over her hand, and it didn’t
wake her from the bizarre dream. The door behind her started to creak open, and
Sherry jumped, snatching a towel off the floor.
When she saw a huge honking diamond on her
finger, she ditched the towel and screamed instead.

PUYP Blog Tour + Review + Giveaway: Resisting the Rancher by Roxanne Snopek
Book Title: Resisting the Rancher
Series: Three River Ranch #4
Author: Roxanne Snopek
Release Date: 4/14/14
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Book Synopsis:
Country veterinarian Celia Gamble is in trouble.
A misunderstanding from her past is rearing its ugly head and the only person
she can turn to is Jonah Clarke—her family’s lawyer and, as it turns out, her
brother Zach’s best friend and her childhood crush. She always wanted Jonah to
see her as a bona fide woman, but as a woman who’s being wrongfully blackmailed
for seducing a married man? Not on her life.
Jonah is happy to help little CeeCee Gamble, if
only she’d come clean about why she’s being blackmailed. But with Zach’s
wedding on the horizon and Zach’s fashionista fiancée Desiree giving CeeCee a
makeover, the little duckling Jonah remembers is turning into a definite swan.
And the unwritten law on sisters is clear—hands off. Jonah must resist Celia or
lose the only true family he’s ever known.
My Thoughts:
What I really enjoyed about the story is how Jonah starts to see his best friend's sister in a whole new light. Of course, his fears play a huge roll and whether he should conquer or retreat. I love Celia and how she proves she's more than a little sister. I adore Desiree for helping Celia to find her self-confidence. Like all Bliss books it has a sweet story, and a happy ending. I'm just glad Jonah came to his senses.
Favorite Line:
"Love doesn't come with the risk of pain. It carries a guarantee of pain. Of course, you'll hurt each other. Then you'll force each other to change and grow into better people. You'll become stronger, and more vulnerable at the same time."Copy provided by the publisher
