Back to You by Jessica Scott

If you didn't know, I have been waiting forever for Trent and Laura's story. Seriously, ever since Because of You, I have been waiting two years for everything to workout.

In Because of You, I got to see one relationship blossom and another start to crumble. Trent and Laura Davila's relationship was crumbling with allegations of affairs and secrets. ACK! I couldn't believe it, because it seem like their relationship was solid. However, things happen that make you start to question what is real.

Anyway. We fast forward to the present day in the story and Trent and Laura are separated. While Laura wants a divorce and move on with her life, Trent can't seem to let go even though it would be the nice thing to do. However, he wants to try to salvage his marriage and family.

As I said a lot of things happen in Because of You that kind of impact Back to You. For one thing Trent is in the process of getting court-martial for things that happen in Because of You. You find out more of about the incident that happen. Not only that you see a couple that has been torn apart due to the war. Sometimes not everything is so cut and dry.

Jessica is an amazing writer and I think that her personal experience really brings her stories to life. It's not always warm happy ever afters in a military family, sometimes it takes a lot trial and error to make it work. As you read Trent and Laura story you get to see how a family on a brink of ending can be reunited with a little work. You have Trent who hasn't been home and doesn't know how to handle everyday drama, while Laura has to make sure life around her doesn't crumble. It's not easy being a military spouse, it takes a lot effort on both parts. Bottom line is Back to You is an emotional read that gives you a glimpse of what it's like to be on both sides of a military family. Honestly, you want a great military romance, you will find a truly fantastic read with Back to You.
