Ride With Me by Ruthie Knox

The past couple of days I have been reading Ride With Me by Ruthie Knox. Let me be honest I have been wanting to read this book, partly because my husband loves to cycle. However, I believe he would not approve Tom's clothing. Anyways, here is what the story is about:

Lexie Marshall wanted to ride the TransAmerica Trail, but didn't wanted to go into alone. So, she set out to look for a riding partner. However, when she placed the ad she left out some key information stating she was a female. Especially, when she used Alex Marshall as her name. Technically it is her name shorten.

One person did answer the ad that she thought would be perfect, a Tom Geiger. Little did she know she wasn't making plans with Tom himself, but his sister Taryn. Being the best sister Taryn could be she didn't let Tom know until the last minute.

Now Tom and Lexie are stuck making this trek together. Not a very good start for the both of them. Tom set out to find another person to ride with Lexie, so he could continue on by himself. The question would be did he find that one person to full fill the obligation or did he continue on the trek with her? Only one way to find out.

Here is what I thought of the book: First off Tom is so not a hero. Here's why: he's not very nice and charming plus he's a grouch. However, I still love the grouch. Even though he's not the smooth talking, charming hero, he's still a lot of fun. Come on you gotta love a tire-licking hero. Then you have Lexie who is bubbly, charming, and a lot of fun to be around. You start to wonder how this is all going to workout in the end. I had a lot of fun reading this book, especially when I have been to some of the places mention in the book. So, you might want to check out this book out. Who knows you might get urge to pull out your bike and go for a ride.

Well, that's all for now and I hope you are having fun in whatever you're reading. See ya next time.
