Sidonie Forsythe decides to help her sister absolve her debts to Jonas Merrick by giving her body to him. I know that is certainly a high price to pay. However, it was a way to protect her sister, Roberta from her husband, William. After all Roberta, practically raised Sidonie.
Jonas Merrick wanted to rubbed in his cousins face that he had his wife. However, his plan was foiled by the ever so detectable Sidonie. Yet he is intrigued by this spit-fire of a girl that he is ok with the change of plans.
As he gets to know Sidonie, he is unable to carry out his wick plan. Somehow, she manages to get through the layers he has to built up. Will, they have more than a week or will it end with both of them going their separate ways?
Absolutely loved this book. I mean I couldn't put it down. Both the characters are flawed. You gotta love flawed characters. I mean Sidonie is a little to loyal to her sister, especially when the relationship is clearly unhealthy for her. Jonas scarred by something that happen while he was a child, by the way he has serious trust issues. When Sidonie ruins the trust that Jonas had with her you truly wonder if they will make it or let it fall away. I had to hold my breath while I was reading the end. I even started to get a little misty eye.
Extremely well written for a page turner. I can't express how much I loved this book. I look forward to the next book in the series. So, I hope you get a chance to check out this book. I hope that your week is going well and I will see you all later. Keep on reading.
