Fall in love with Sam Braden in the Bradens of Peaceful Harbor. Hot, sexy, & wickedly naughty second cousins to the Weston, Colorado Bradens we know and love.

River rafting and adventure company owner Sam Braden works hard and plays harder. He’s fast, focused, and determined—and never at a loss for a willing woman to share his time with. The trouble is, the only woman he wants refuses him at every turn.

Physician assistant Faith Hayes escaped her painful past and built a safe, happy life in Peaceful Harbor. She’s also put what she’s learned to good use helping others by founding Women Against Cheaters, an online support group. When her boss’s sinfully sexy brother sets his sights on sweet Faith, she knows the self-professed player is everything she shouldn’t want, and she’s determined to resist him.

Sam pulls out all the stops, proving to Faith that his past doesn’t have to define his future. As she lets down her guard and begins to trust Sam, intense conversations turn to intimate pleasures. But when real life steps in and their pasts collide, it’s Faith who’s left with something to prove.

My Thoughts:

River of Love definitely put a smile on my face. Oh my can I say how much I love these two. You wouldn't think these two belong together, I mean she's a good sweet girl and he's a straight up player. When Sam is around Faith he wants to be a better man. This is a hard thing to do being in a small town. It's like being in the Cheer's bar, so Sam has work extra hard to get one date. Let me say I turned into a ooey-goey mess on how he asked Faith out. Oh my gosh talk about putting his heart on the line in order to get a date, and not even sure if he can secure a second. He has his past hooks up looming over him like bad B.O. However, that wasn't the only problem he had going for him, Faith was hurt but skeevy ex-boyfriend who thought the only answer was to cheat. This made Faith leery to date Sam. Oh how I love Sam.

I totally loved Sam. He went out of his way to make Faith feel comfortable. It was a lot of work, but he was willing to do it. At any point in the story, he could have said this is too much work and I can't deal with your mistrust. Instead he went out of his way to prove to Faith he was a good guy. Truthfully, I was a little worry that her best friend, Vivian was going to cause more trouble, which made me not like her that much at the beginning. However, she did warm up to Sam and Faith's relationship.

Overall, I loved River of Love. I love that story center around the line you can't judge a book by it's cover. My favorite line:

You might out on a really great story if you judge a book by it's cover.
It's true, had Faith been afraid of taking a chance with Sam, she might have missed out on a great adventure. Like all the Braden's once Sam found the one, he fell like a rock. Those who adore Melissa's work will still find enjoyment with River of Love. Oh boy, I can't wait for the next Peace Harbor Braden to fall.
