InkSlinger PR Spotlight + Review: Bro Code by Kendall Ryan

Bro Code

From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a flirty new standalone about falling for your older brother's best friend.

There’s pretty much only one rule when you’re a guy.

Don’t be a douche.

Turns out, the fastest way to break that rule is to fall for your best friend’s sister.

Ava’s brilliant, sharp-tongued, gorgeous, and five years younger than me.

She’s the sexual equivalent of running with scissors. In a word, she’s dangerous. And completely off-limits.

Falling for her could ruin everything.

Yet I can’t seem to stop, even when her company is threatened by a lawsuit, and my promotion hinges on representing the opposing client—and winning.

I can’t see a way out of this mess that doesn’t end in a broken friendship, a broken heart, or a ruined career.

I may have broken the bro code when I fell for Ava. But do I have the balls to handle what comes next?

My Thoughts:
Where do I beginning? First off, the Bro Code troupes are one of my faves. I mean you have the code of brotherhood where you don't touch your bro's sister, yet the best friend has the hots for the sister. You really can't go wrong with that kind of troupe. You have the couple trying to keep the relationship under-wraps in fear of someone finding out whats going on or they are trying to avoid their feelings. The possibilities are endless. However, in Bro Code we have the typical bro-code.

We have Barrett Wilson is on top of the world, but gets knocked down by his attraction to his best friend's sister, Ava Saunders. Now Ava is taking on a major change and she's unsure how she's going to handle it. She doesn't really have time for a man, but maybe a fling. Plus, she's always found her brother's best attractive. We have one trying to keep the attraction at bay while the other trying to ensue the a fling. We know one has to win, so the fun beginnings. There's a lot more to this story, and I didn't realize it until the end.

Anyway, I liked Bro Code. Barrett and Ava are pretty hot for one another, and they are fun to watch them to get together. So, if you are in need a fairly quick read with a hot forbidden romance. Honestly, I don't think it's all that forbidden, then again I never lusted after my brother's friend. I think my brother's would have been cool with their friend's lusting after me. Moving on, if you have a thing for brother's best friend chasing after their sister, Bro Code is your read.
