Behind Palace Doors by Jules Bennett (Review)

First off, I absolutely fell in love with the cover of Jules Bennett's Behind Palace Doors. I mean the cover is gorgeous. I love the dress and the hero is dashing. The great cover is the perfect fit for the fantastic story. Seriously, I thought it was awesome. Here's why:

Well, you have Victoria Dane who comes from this great Hollywood family who is best friend with a prince. Now Stefan Alexander is the Prince of Galini Isle, but he needs to marry in order to secure the crown otherwise it reverts back Greece's control.
Of course, he doesn't want this to happen, but he also doesn't want to give up his playboy life. However, he feels duty bound and is willing to do whatever for his country. Which he concocts this idea to use his best friend, Victoria, secure the title and crown, all he has to do is ask. Basically, she's willing to do this for him cause she loves him as best friend.

I love the story, because you have two friends that care very deeply for one another and willing to do whatever it takes. And on some level, they knew that both loved each other more than they wanted to admit. Victoria was more willing to be honest with herself when it came to love, but at the same time afraid to share her true feelings. After all, a friendship was at stake when this was all said and done. Then we have Stefan, who is too afraid to examine his feelings for Victoria, and wonders if he could give up his playboy lifestyle indefinitely. You see them working well together and the heat and passion is strong, but is it strong enough to keep them together.

Yes, I loved Behind Palace Doors, because it's a beautiful story about to friends who would do anything for one another. Overall, the story is heart melting good read. So, if you are looking for that playboy prince who falls in love with his best friend, you might give Behind Palace Doors a go.
