Annalise “Leesa” Avalon never realized that one sentence could change her life until one of her students revealed his crush—and within twenty-four hours she finds herself under fire. After a grueling investigation that turns her life upside down, she steals away to Peaceful Harbor, Maryland, with a new identity to try to pull herself back together and figure out her next step.

From the outside, Cole Braden lives a charmed life. He’s a top orthopedic surgeon with a thriving practice, strong family ties, and friends he adores. But there’s a lonely spot inside Cole that no one can see. He has an enormous heart—and a painful past—but the desire to love and be loved is too strong to ignore.

A chance encounter brings Leesa and Cole together, and the attraction is immediate and intense. But a relationship is the last thing Leesa needs—and the only thing Cole wants. Long talks, heated moments, and deep connections are hard to resist, but the harder Cole tries, the more Leesa pulls away. Cole might truly be the right man for Leesa, but is Leesa the right woman for him?

My Thoughts:

In Surrender of Love, we get involved with Cole's love life. Granted he hasn't had much of a love life since he has been busy with his career. Like in all Braden form love wasn't too important till he found the one. Yes, he gets knockdown by pretty girl. Now Annalise is trying to figure out what do with her life after it had almost been completely destroyed by a 12 year old by. Since her world was rocked she's trying to figure out who she really is. Which is never easy.

I liked Surrender to Love. It was a sweet story. I liked how Cole was willing stick by her side while she figure out what do with her life. Leesa is kind and adorable. Overall, sweet story about finding your footing after a fall. One of my favorite quotes from the story would be "We can run from our past, but we can't really move forward until we accept it. Pain and all." That pretty much summed up what Cole and Annalise had to do. Yes, Cole had to face his past too, but it wasn't as devastating as Annalise. Those who have enjoyed Melissa's story will find enjoyment in Surrender to Love.
