My Thoughts:
Oh my goodness Caught By You has a lot going on, but oh so good. If you guys read All Of Me, you would remember Mike and Donna having some serious flirting going on in the background. Of course nothing happen during the season since Mike takes his vow of celibacy strongly. So, the start of Caught By You is hot and steamy since it's the end of the season, but quickly fizzles out all cause Donna received some devastating news which fuels the plot of the story. Things we already knew about Donna:
"She's fearless, loyal, brave, trustworthy, funny, quirky, and smart. She stands up when other people back down. She turned her life around when no one believed in her."By all that information Donna is awesome. However, there is one thing we didn't know about her is she has a son, and she's trying to get custody of him. Of course there is complications, like her ex-boyfriend and his fiancee are trying to get custody and deem her unfit. Pretty jacked up. Cause of the situation Mike decides to become engage with Donna.
Caught By You is a pretty good read. I adore Donna and Mike's relationship. They are fun couple. Donna starts to fall hard for Mike, but Mike has a problem giving his whole. Geez those ex-fiancee's can do a number on the person. So, we have Mike's past relationship playing into the dynamics of his current relationship. However, there's a lot going on in Caught By You: We have past relationships, custody issues, family drama galore, and lets not forget Wade drama too. Those Wades believe they own the town.
There are other characters you might want to keep tract of while reading the story which are Bonita (evil vindictive B, also related to the Wades), Harvey (Donna's ex-boyfriend), and Zack (Donna & Harvey's son). Overall, enjoyed this roller coaster of a read. Yes, drama up the wazoo, but you will find comedy too. Caught By You is an enjoyable read for those who love Jennifer's other books.
