First off, Running Hot is a pretty good intro the Bad Boys Undercover. In this story we meet Ward Bennett and Tasha Gregory who are both undercover agents, and they both want the same guy. Well, Tasha doesn't want to work with Ward cause she doesn't want to share credit or worse he takes all the credit. So, throughout the story we have these two fighting there attraction while trying to accomplish the mission. Both of them are extremely stubborn. Ward tends to ooze off charm which drives Tasha mad. The one character flaw of Tasha that kind gets under Ward's skin is her her lack of trust. Seriously, these two pact a lot heat for one another, but they butt-heads for a while.
Anyway, since it's a novella, it's a pretty quick read, and easy to give too much away. Yet it's a decent introduction on what forms between the two agency forming an alliance to work together. Plus, it gives a quick romance and action. So, if you are looking for an into to a new suspense story, you might checkout Running Hot, because it might be what you are looking for.
