Do you guys know how much I love fake relationships (in a book)? I mean they are simply the best. So, it's easy to see why I fell in love with The Billionaire Bachelor. So, we have Resse Crane who is known as a manwhore at work, but he also works hard. Of course there is a reason for his manwhore tendency. However, the board sees that this might reflect badly on the company, so they are a bit leery to make him president of his father's company. What better way to make everyone believe he has change his way, but getting into a fake relationship with Merina Van Heusen who is the perfect antidote to solve his problem. Fortunately he has something she wants and is willing to do anything to get back. So beginnings the fun.
Merina is warm and caring, and I'm surprise more people don't question why she is in a relationship with Reese. Reese presents himself as a cold, calculating person, and he is for the most part. However, he starts to thaw as he gets to know Merina. You see that he starts to care for Merina, but he's still not willing to completely open up after all it's just a marriage of convenience with a deadline.
I love The Billionaire Bachelor, because you have ruthless Reese taken down by sweet down-to-earth girl like Merina. The Billionaire Bachelor was one of those books I couldn't put down. I tried to do other things, but it seem to call my name every time tried to put it down. So, if you love fake relationship with marriage of convenience, you have found your read in The Billionaire Bachelor.
