When Lemon finally spends the night with him, it’s a dream come true, and he hopes, the start of something more. But the very next morning they are back to their bickering ways that forces the two apart. Until Lemon confesses that she’s pregnant with his baby, giving him a second chance he never expected.
Although Tristan agrees to a marriage of convenience, he is confident he can show Lemon they are right for each other. But can Lemon trust him with her heart, or will their past be too much to overcome?
My Thoughts:
I loved Love So Tempting. It was a sweet story. You have these two people that couldn't stand one another, but while Tristan was off in the desert Lemon wrote to him. So, we got to see these two develop a relationship. It was tart and sweet. They started bonding so much that Tristan played to marry Lemon. Awww. This is when Trisha Yearwood's She's in Love with the Boy started to pop in my mind, it works for this story. However, we can't have them magically work and have a happily ever after, nope we got to throw a wrench in the mix. Old habits die hard, so they start nitpicking one another again. I love them, because there is so much sexual tension between them, but what must be must be. Even though the wrench thought they were helping the situation, they caused more harm.
Thank you for the lining of the stars (or at least the author) was able to get these two together. Circumstances force them to make a marriage of convenience, but Tristan is aiming to win Lemon's heart. Lemon definitely has a tart little tongue, and she can't seem to control it around Tristan. Fortunately, Tristan doesn't mind. This is a fairly quick read where you will find two people that couldn't stand one another (but I think it was they liked each other too much and didn't know how to deal with there feelings, so it's just easier to attack) to find something special. They are just a fun couple to read. With each Lawson I start to fall in love with each of the boys. They each have a special charm.
