InkSlinger PR Review: Flirting with Forever by Kendall Ryan

Flirting with Forever

I've waited years for the perfect girl, yet she was right in front of me all along.

My best friend, Natalie, has been by my side through everything. Leaning on my shoulder, borrowing my sweatshirts…and making my pants too tight when she flashes me that sassy smile that drives me crazy.

But she has no idea about that last part. She doesn't have a clue I've felt this way about her for years.

Until one night after too many cocktails, we fall into bed together.

I'm flirting with my forever…she just doesn't know it yet.

This book is a sexy, slow-burning best-friends-to-lovers romance with a guaranteed HEA and no cheating. Dive in, and get ready to melt for Cam!

My Thoughts:

Flirting with Forever was a cute read for a friends-to-lovers read, but I did struggle with this one. Not because it wasn't a good read, but mainly because they took soooo long to get together. They were just so friendly, that I wonder when they were going to get together. However, everything that happen in the book had a purpose. We have Natalie and Cameron who have been best friends forever. They both think that it's a dry spell that has them looking at one another like why haven't we gotten together. Natalie is on the move to find a new love, while Cam is trying to avoid the opposite sex because he made a pack with his other bestie, Jack. Watching Natalie and Cam trying to avoid the feelings they have while Cam isn't suppose to have sex for a month is an interesting time. Flirting with Forever did pick up speed once they realize that can't keep their hands off one of them.

Even though I did struggle at the beginning which is my personal feelings for friends-to-lovers read, but Flirting with Forever was a cute read. There were some lines absolutely love. Especially, when Natalie is talking to her mother. Her mother was judging a the ring being silver. I LOVE Natalie's response which I'm going to leave, because it's a great life lesson forever everyone:

Everything tarnishes, Mother. Even a marriage. We'll polish it. Don't you think over the course of my years-long friendship with Cam that we've argued? That we've had our ups and downs? But we love each other and believe in this. Nothing can stay tarnished forever.
Even there friendship was work, and they know it's still going to be work in their romantic relationship, they can do it. I think we can take that advice and added to our lives. Things may become a little tarnish, but a little care can make it shine again.
