InkSlinger PR Spotlight + Review: Love Machine by Kendall Ryan

LOVE MACHINE
By Kendall Ryan
July 16, 2018

A best-friends-to-lovers standalone romance from New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan.

She says she needs some help ... in the bedroom.

Come again? No, really come again.

Sweet, nerdy, lovable Keaton.

She's my best friend and has been for years. Sure she likes numbers and math, and thinks doing other people's taxes is fun. And I like ... none of that stuff. She's obsessed with her cat and reads novels I'll never understand, and yet we just click. There's no one I'd rather share breakfast burritos with or binge watch hours Netflix. She's my person. And so when she takes off her glasses and asks me to help her improve her skills in the bedroom, I barely have to think about it.

Of course I'll help her. There's no one better for the job.

I've been there for her through everything, why should this be any different?

But what happens when she's ready to take her new-found confidence and move on?

My Thoughts:

I'm normally not a fan of friends-to-lovers story, but Love Machine was pretty awesome. Plus, I like that I didn't feel like a was watching potential train wreck. This is one of my fear when it comes to friends-to-lover. As I started reading this story, I knew I was going to love Love Machine. I had so much fun reading this book.

We start off with Keaton. She knows her way around stuff that would make the rest of us nod off. However, when it comes around being around the other sex, she has no clue what to do. She comes up with the idea that her best guy friend can teach her to be a man magnet and be marvelous in the bedroom. Slate knows his way around the bedroom, and Keaton figures he would be the best candidate. It's a little awkward, but it starts smoothing its way out fast. I love these two. They have been best friends forever, and they feel comfortable around one another.

I love the title, it made me laugh and actually think of the 70s song Love Machine by The Miracles. So, that made this book so much fun. Also, Keaton and Slate were pretty awesome together. Like I said I started reading the book I knew I was going to enjoy the story. Kendall Ryan grabbed my attention from the get go. If you are a friends-to-lovers kind of person you might enjoy the adventures Keaton and Slate. They have a lot of fun around one another and in the bedroom.
