MY KIND OF WONDERFUL
Cedar Ridge #2

UNEXPECTED AND UNDENIABLE . . .
Bailey Moore has an agenda: skiing in the Rockies, exploring castles in Europe, ballroom dancing in Argentina. Now that she has a second lease on life, she's determined not to miss a thing. What she doesn't realize is that item #1 comes with a six-foot-one ski god hot enough to melt a polar ice cap. She doesn't want to miss out on him either, but Hudson Kincaid isn't the type of guy to love and let go. And as gorgeous as Cedar Ridge is, she's not planning to stick around.

As head of ski patrol at his family's resort, Hud thinks he's seen it all. But never has he run into someone like Bailey. She might look delicate, but her attitude is all firecracker. And her infectious joy touches something deep within him that he's been missing far too long. Now he'll just have to convince Bailey to take a chance on her biggest adventure yet . . . something rare and all kinds of wonderful.

My Thoughts:
Jill's books are always good one to go when you need something to make you laugh and sometimes make you leak out a tear or two. In My Kind of Wonderful, Jill does not let you down. Seriously, this a good time read. You have the Kincaid family antics. I mean when the guys are giving frilly underwear to one another to one up the other, it's definitely going to be a good time. Anyway, we are focusing on Bailey Moore and Hudson Kincaid.

We meet Bailey who has a zest for life after spending 10 years of her life waiting on deaths door, and she's going to take ever opportunity to grab it by the balls. She's adorable and unsure about herself, but she's willing to give anything a try. Then we have Hudson and he's emotionally unavailable, but Bailey seems to break through his wall. However, be emotionally unavailable for so long he doesn't know how to handle the truth. Poor sap.

My Kind of Wonderful is a wonderful story about a young woman getting a new lease on life while falling for a guy who is just as stubborn as her. They are cute together. I enjoyed this story a lot because we see Hudson slowly (yes slowly) realizing there is more to life than work. However, that is his safe haven, and he almost misses his chance. True Jill form this story has sappy moments, snorts and giggle, and family unity. Yes, you see Hudson and Bailey drawing close together, but you also get comment from the peanut gallery (the family) and that's what makes this story so much fun. So, if you are looking for something that will give snorts and giggles, you might give My Kind of Wonderful a try. Those who have already discovered Jill won't be disappointed with this story.
