Audiobook: The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley

Since I wasn't ready to start February book challenge reads I decided to pick up another Lucy Foley book. I have been listening to The Paris Apartment. I have to say, that I enjoyed this one a little more. You have Jess who is going to see her brother who lives in Paris. When she gets there she realizes he is missing. She goes on a mission to search for her brother. She has her suspects which happen to be Nick, Sophie, Mimi, Concierge, and Anton. Anyway, she's on a hunt for information. However, she encounters road blocks left and right.

I did enjoy listening to this story, and it's very similarly set up like The Guest List, where you have each chapter reflecting a persons interaction to the situation. For some this might not feel fluid, and a bit cumbersome. However, might enjoy this. The characters that truly have a voice in the story are Jess, Sophie, Nick, Mimi, and Concierge. With each person you get a little bit of the past on how they met Ben. Secrets are reveal as the story continues. I like how there were different narrators for each of those characters, and I think that helped me follow the story. I was shocked about the ending of the story. Definitely not what I was expecting. Is this book for everyone no. However, I found this story pretty good. Did I find a few of the characters insufferable? Yes. I did understand where they were coming from. I found the ending a bit shocking.
